Seller Info
Seller Agreement
To market cattle through High Plains Video, a consigner must first contact a representative from High Plains Cattle. This Representative will complete a consignment form that details all necessary information about a specific group of cattle. They will also record a video or digital that accurately showcases the cattle. The consignment form is then submitted to High Plains Cattle, where it is entered into a database. A catalog is created, distributed via mail and uploaded to the High Plains Cattle and CattleUSA websites.

Cattle are auctioned by an auctioneer to the highest bidder, who may participate via phone, internet or in person. After the auction, each consignor receives a down payment along with a contract. The representative is present during all deliveries, and once the cattle are weighed, a check from High Plains Cattle's custodial account or a partner's account is issued to the consignor for the agreed amount, minus commission and any applicable fees.
Cattle are picked up from a location specified by the consignor and transported to the buyers destination. This direct shipping from the farm or ranch helps reduce stress and potential health issues for the cattle. High Plains cattle is committed to maintaining its high standard of service and marketing expertise from the consignment contract to delivery.
